Reign Pit & Bully Kennel PUPPY CONTRACT

PUPPY RESPONSIBILITY:

* Although we prefer to place pups/ dogs with owners who have some experience with the breed, we do appreciate people who are honest and willing to learn about the breed.

* Please do your research on the American Pit Bull Terrier/ Working Pit Bulldog / American Bully before deciding on owning one.

* New owners are obligated to make themselves very aware of any possible bans or ordinances that are in their state, county, and/or community that are breed specific.

* You as the new owner have a great responsibility to maintain your dog’s emotional and physical well-being for their entire life span.

* Promote continued good health by staying current on veterinarian check-ups.

* Maintain proper immunization by keeping your dog up to date on all recommended vaccines, and flea/tick medicine and heartworm preventative.

* Do not bring your puppy in public places until it has had all the required vaccines (usually that is between 12-16wks old). Your puppy is not fully protected until then.

* Provide proper exercise for the mental and physical well-being of your dog.

* We encourage you to become active with your dog. The bond created between you and the dog, training together as a team, is a meaningful experience.

PUPPY AGREEMENT:

* Reign Pit & Bully Kennel guarantees pup/dog will be received by the buyer in good health having received protocol de-wormings at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks of age. The puppy will have received their first vaccination between 6-7 weeks of age. The puppies health record will be mailed or emailed to the buyer, if shipping puppy. The puppies health record will be personally handed to the buyer upon pick up of the puppy.

* Buyer will receive the puppy UKC, ADBA, and/or ABKC registration certificates by mail, or at the time of pick up.

* The name "ReignPBK" or "RPBK" will forever be included in the registered name on all official UKC/ADBA/ABKC registration papers. Buyer will also represent said dog as "ReignPBK’s" or "RPBK" at all times.

* Buyer should notify Reign Pit & Bully Kennel on a yearly basis of the dog’s wellbeing, provide a current photo, and notify Reign Pit & Bully Kennel of any changes in address or phone number. We take great pride in our dogs and the dogs produced by us and it is important to us to follow each dog’s progress as they mature. We appreciate all the feedback we get on the dogs; it helps to keep us informed and educated on the dogs we produce.

* Buyer must immediately notify Reign Pit & Bully Kennel if they can no longer keep the pup/dog, or if the pup/dog is stolen or lost. Reign Pit & Bully Kennel maintains the right to have the dog returned to us if buyer decides they can no longer keep the dog. If micro-chipping the dog, we encourage the buyer to add our contact information to the list.

* Reign Pit & Bully Kennel reserves the right to keep the 1st pick male or female out of any litter we produce.

* Buyer agrees the pup/dog will not be used for any inhumane, immoral, or illegal purposes.

PICKING A PUPPY:

* We take a "Welcome" picture of the puppies soon after birth, and then we will take pictures of the puppies at 2, 4, and 6 weeks of age. Upon request, we take additional pictures and/or video to help you in deciding on a puppy.

* Going in order and starting with 1st pick male and female, we will go down the line in an orderly fashion informing the next person it is their turn to pick. Buyer has 24hrs unless agreed otherwise to pick their puppy starting when breeder notifies them of their turn. Picks will begin at 6-7 weeks of age at the latest.

DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS:

* Before sending a deposit we assume you have read this contract in full. All guarantees apply to the original owner only and are non-transferable.

* Early reservations are highly recommended; we cannot hold a puppy for you without a deposit.

* Deposits and/or any money given to RPBK for a pup are non-refundable but can be transferred to another litter.

* Your deposit/money will be transferred to a future litter of your choice in the case that the breeding did not have an available puppy.

* If you need to transfer your deposit for personal reasons, please inform us of this decision as soon as possible. Your deposit will not be refunded, it will be transferred to a future litter from our kennel of your choice.

* No deposits will be accepted after the pups are 6 weeks of age. If any pups are available after 6 weeks of age buyer must pay for the pup in full.

* Buyer is to have puppy paid for in full by 8 weeks of age. Shipping is $450+ if being shipped in the US. Date of shipping will be agreed upon by both parties and scheduled according to the ground transporters dates offered. Reign Pit & Bully Kennel will allow the buyer to arrange shipping with their own ground transporter if the buyer desires. If buyer chooses to use a ground transporter of their choice Reign Pit & Bully Kennel will not be responsible for the pup after leaving with said transporter. Pup will not be shipped until paid in full and he/she is at least 8 weeks of age.

* If Reign Pit & Bully Kennel does not hear from buyer, and buyer does not respond to our attempts of contact by the time the puppy is 6 weeks of age, buyers’ deposit/payment will be forfeited and the puppy will be put back up for sale. Please make sure the contact information you provide us is up to date.

HEALTH GUARANTEE:

* Buyer agrees to have pup examined by licensed Veterinarian within 72 hours of transfer. If at this time pup is found to be in ill health, and the cause is attributed to Reign Pit & Bully Kennel, we will replace the pup, provided the condition is sufficiently serious and would warrant euthanasia, in the opinion of two qualified veterinarians.

* Reign Pit & Bully Kennel guarantees the pup to be current on all vaccinations and de-wormed. All puppies that are shipped will have received an Official Certificate of Health provided by our licensed veterinarian.

* If the pup develops a life-threatening illness or defect due to its genetics, Reign Pit & Bully Kennel is to be notified immediately. Cases where it is recommended a dog to be euthanized due to a serious illness or defect that will cause great discomfort will be considered life threatening. Reign Pit & Bully Kennel must be provided written documentation from two licensed veterinarians containing a diagnosis and prognosis for the dog. We will replace the dog from the first possible breeding. All shipping and veterinarian costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Monetary refunds will not be given. This agreement will not apply to a condition that is treatable.

* Reign Pit & Bully Kennel cannot be held responsible for health defects caused in part by the buyer's negligence and/ or irresponsible dog ownership.

INCENTIVE TO BUYER:

If buyer titles the pup they purchase from Reign Pit & Bully Kennel in any legal sanctioned sport or conformation show Reign Pit & Bull Kennel will let the buyer have a pup for free from any upcoming breeding Reign Pit & Bully has.

By sending a deposit you do hereby accept this agreement in its entirety. If it is found that any part of this contract has been broken by the buyer the dog will then be returned to RPBK and all shipping cost, or any other cost incurred in enforcing this contract will be at the cost of the buyer.
